The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce had a ribbon cutting April 8 for Savvy Upscale Consignments, at 1425A W. Oglethorpe Highway in Hinesville.

Chamber Office Manager Erin Johnson welcomed shop owners Crystal and Thomas Roberson. Chamber Board Member Leigh Smiley assured the support of the chamber and its board members, as well as congratulated the Robersons.

Crystal Roberson started Savvy Upscale, a retail store with range of new and used items for others to have name brand shopping at affordable prices. Her own love of bargain shopping played a role in the business.

"Having six kids, I was never able to afford name brand clothing," she said. "I love being able to offer my customers good deals on higher end pieces."
