Courier seeks to honor volunteers

Do you know a Liberty County volunteer who deserves recognition for his or her efforts?
If so, nominate your hometown hero for the Coastal Courier’s Volunteer of the Year for 2007 contest.
Volunteers can be any age, but must reside in Liberty  County or serve as a volunteer here.
The winning volunteer will be recognized in the Courier’s “Pride and Progress” edition to be published in late January.
The deadline to enter the contest is Jan. 3.

How to nominate a volunteer
To submit a nomination, send us an essay — under 500 words — explaining why your nominee should be selected for the honor.
Essays may be published in print and on the Web.
Also, essays must be legible. Be sure to include your name and phone number, as well as the name and phone number of your nominee.
Submit essays via email to news@coastalcourier.com, mail them to the Coastal Courier News Department at P. O. Box 498, Hinesville, GA 31310 or drop them off at the Courier at 125 S. Main St. Hinesville.
