Forestry to be topic of Savannah discussion
Georgia Forestry Commission
The Georgia Forestry Commission is helping put on the discussion as part of a statewide tour to promote the industry.
A tour to learn Georgians’ hopes and concerns about forestry will present a "Tree Talk" in Savannah at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Savannah Economic Development Authority. Andres Villegas, president and CEO of the Georgia Forestry Association, and Chuck Williams, director of the Georgia Forestry Commission, are hosting the event. Landowners, industry representatives and interested citizens are invited.
