Pest control test reviews offered

SAVANNAH — Landscape professionals and lawn-care specialists must pass a Georgia Department of Agriculture test to become licensed to use lawn and garden pesticides.

The UGA Bamboo Farm and Coastal Gardens is offering two, one-day seminars that will review study material.
A course on applying pesticides correctly is scheduled for 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 15, and a course on ornamentals and turfgrass pest control is scheduled for 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 22.

Registration is from 8.-8:45 a.m. Cost is $10 per person for each class. Check or cash only.
