The Society for American Military Engineers will be hosting a small business symposium at 8 a.m. April 14, at the Savannah Marriott.
The conference, according to Sally Richer, will be an all-day event to give large and small firms an opportunity to network.
“It will be a good place to get your teaming relationship started,” she said.
Richer said the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers has certain quotas they have to meet for upcoming projects and contracts.
According to Richer, the symposium will ensure the Corp is meeting with both large and small companies.
The conference will feature several seminars on topics such as government contracting, how to market your business in a failing economy and a how-to on filling out the standard form 330.
