Speros, a full-service technology company based in Savannah, held a grand opening Wednesday for its new satellite office in Hinesville.

The company provides technology solutions including telephone systems, information-technology services, Web design and cloud computing.

“We have been in the business for 31 years, and now we are going to bring our expertise with technology to this community.  Even though we have been servicing Hinesville, now we will have a local presence,” owner Susan Speros said in an interview.

During the opening ceremony, Speros announced the new location’s managers, Chip and Michelle Adams, and let other key members of the company say a few words, including Chief Operating Officer Keith Fletcher.

“If you’re going to relocate a major business, one thing that you are looking for is how you are going to get the support — not just for your raw materials, not just for your workforce, but also for your technology,” Fletcher said. “If there isn’t someone to support you, you are not going to go there. We want to make sure that Hinesville has the ability to attract that type of business that will provide good jobs and help the economy.”

Mayor Jim Thomas thanked the company for choosing Hinesville as its new location and helped cut the ribbon.

|The office is at 101 Memorial Drive, Suite A, and already has already begun serving Hinesville businesses.
