Hinesville police are looking for a woman who hit a Subway sandwich shop on Gen. Screven Way near the main Fort Stewart gate and then drove off, causing an estimated $15,000 in damage.

No one was injured in the incident, which happened around 5 p.m. Monday, according to Hinesville Traffic Accident Investigator Gregory Lachowsky.

He said the woman, who had a male passenger, was in a gray Honda with a Georgia plate. Lachowsky said she drove into the parking lot, hit the building, sat there for a few minutes and then backed up and drove east on Gen. Screven away from Fort Stewart.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Hinesville Police Department at 912-368-8211 or 911.
