Chamber helps Optim Health System hold ribbon cutting

The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Optim Health System on Tuesday, February 20 at its location, 790 Veterans Parkway, Suite 111, Hinesville.

Joe Ford, chairman of the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce, welcomed those in attendance and congratulated Optim Health System on its new physicians.

Amber Shelly, the physician liaison of Optim Health System, thanked those in attendance and gave a brief history of the business. Shelly also introduced their new surgeons — Dr. Jay Cook and Dr. Robert Shelly, their physician assistant, James Harold, and the rest of their staff.

Donald Lovette, chairman of the Liberty County Board of Commissioners also gave greetings to those in attendance and congratulated Optim Health System.

“It makes a big difference to have a specialized medical office like Optim Health System in a community and we are Liberty County proud to have you here,” he said.

Council member Jason Floyd of the City of Hinesville welcomed those in attendance and congratulated the new physicians.

“We want to welcome you to the city of Hinesville,” he said. “If there’s anything we can do to help you be successful here, please let us know.”
