The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for The Diamond Life Home on Wednesday, June 26 at its location, 4282 W Oglethorpe Hwy, Allenhurst (next to the U.S. Post Office).

Kathy Villafane, executive board member of the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce, welcomed those in attendance and congratulated Katamara Frasier, the owner, on her new business in Allenhurst.

“Know that if there’s anything that you need, we are here. You are not alone in this endeavor. We are here to support you in whatever you need,” said Villafane.

Councilwoman Nicole Reed, of the town of Allenhurst, also gave congratulatory remarks.

“On behalf of the town of Allenhurst, we welcome you to the community and look forward to working with you. If there’s anything you need, please call us,” said Reed.

Frasier, the owner, thanked those in attendance and gave a brief history of the business.

“I was born and raised in Liberty County. So when my family and I initially decided to go from being solely an e-commerce business to having an established footprint here in town, I was excited,” she said. “It’s one thing to open up a business and have to do it on your own, but I thank God for my children, who also play a major part in the business.”
