City Manager Ken Howard has turned himself in to the Peach County Sheriff’s Office. Howard is one of six men charged with solicitation of sodomy and pandering in the Fort State Valley University sex scandal.
According to the sheriff’s office, Howard turned himself in at 9:42 a.m. Oct. 23, within the time frame granted by Macon’s District Attorney David Cooke, Jr. Howard left the department at 11 a.m., after bonding out at $3,500.
Previously, the Courier received incorrect information as to the time when Howard turned himself in. As of the afternoon of Oct. 23, the Peach County Sheriff’s Department reported to the Courier that he had not turned himself in.
