Presbyterian College

CLINTON, S.C. - Presbyterian College proudly salutes the success of its students by recognizing outstanding academic achievement.

Evedith Urueta-Whitaker of Hinesville is one of those students after being named to PC’s Dean’s List for the Fall 2024 semester.

Students who make the Dean’s List earn at least a 3.5 to 3.9 grade point average for the semester.

Dalton State College

DALTON - Dione L Breland of Hinesville has been named to Dalton State College’s fall 2024 part-time Dean’s List.

Breland was among 781 students named to the part-time Dean’s List. The Dean’s List recognizes students who achieved a grade point average of 3.5 - 3.99 while taking 6 -11 credit hours during the academic semester.

University of Kentucky

LEXINGTON, KY - Felicity Olney of Ludowici was named to the Fall 2024 University of Kentucky College of Arts and Sciences Dean’s List. This accomplishment is a sign of Felicity’s hard work and commitment to learning.

More than 2,000 undergraduate students have qualified for the Fall College of Arts and Sciences Dean’s List. Students on the Dean’s List earned 12 or more credit hours as letter grades with a minimum 3.6 GPA for the semester.

University of Alabama

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - A total of 14,631 students enrolled during Fall Semester 2024 at The University of Alabama were named to the dean’s list with an academic record of 3.5 (or above) or the president’s list with an academic record of 4.0 (all As).

Local students include: Arriyana Hayes of Hinesville was named to the President’s List.

Sarah Wiser of Hinesville was named to the Dean’s List.

The Citadel

CHARLESTON, S.C. James Pernula of Hinesville is one of the more than 670 cadets and students recognized for their academic achievements during the fall 2024 semester.

Gold stars are awarded to cadets and students at The Citadel who achieved a 3.7 grade point average or higher. Cadets and students who achieve gold star recognition are also placed on The Citadel’s dean’s list.

Those cadets may wear gold stars on their uniforms throughout the semester following their academic achievement. A gold star recognition certificate is awarded to non-cadet students who meet the requirements; veteran and active duty students are also awarded challenge coins.

Pernula also is among the more than 1,300 cadets and students recognized for their academic achievements during the fall 2024 semester.
