Calling all cooks:  The Liberty County 4-H Office has volunteer opportunities for a volunteer Cooking Club Coach. Anyone interested should call their office at 912-876-2133.

Holiday competition from Morning Glory Garden Club: The Morning Glory Garden Club is running a Door Decorating Contest from Dec.9 until Dec. 20 The rules are: Homes and Businesses in Liberty County are encouraged to decorate their main front door for the Holidays. Submit entry by 5:00pm on December 17, 2021, to karen. bell@libertycountyga.com with the following information: A photo of your decorated door, Homeowner or Businesses Name. Name, phone number, and email of person to contact and address. Decorations must be viewable outside the home or business for judging.

All decorations must be within the limits of the door frame. Anything outside the door frame will not be judged. The door must be able to open and close normally.

Door Decorations will be judged from Dec. 20 –24, 2021. The winner will be announced on Saturday, December 25, 2021.

The winners will receive – First Prize a Camellia Bush; the second and third prizes are Native Plants. All Photo submissions may be used on all Morning Glory Garden Club Social Media platforms. Christmas Tea Midway Museum, 11 a.m.– 2 p.m.; admission TBD Midway Museum’s annual Christmas Tea is back on. Enjoy tea and finger foods in the Garden Room, then take the opportunity to view the museum’s period furnishings, art, and artifacts. Tea times and pricing to be announced closer to the time.
