The City of Hinesville is partnering with Bethel AME Church to provide a cooling station today and Thursday from 12 noon-5 p.m. The church is located at 233 N. Gause Street in Hinesville.

A heat advisory is in effect until 8 p.m. Thursday. Highs today are forecast to hit 96 degrees and could reach 99 degrees Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
