COVID-19 Daily report June 30
Coastal Health District

Here is the daily COVID-19 REPORT FROM THE Coastal Health District.

A note about today's case numbers:
The number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the Coastal Health District increased significantly today. By contrast, increases over the last few days were quite small. To provide some context, it may be helpful to note that some healthcare providers outside of public health do not enter positive tests into the state database on the weekends, which is one reason you may see a big increase at the start of a new week.

As of 3 p.m., June 30th, there have been 2,710 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in residents of the Coastal Health District and 54 deaths.

Cumulative cases by county:

  • Bryan: 127 cases, 5 deaths
  • Camden: 128 cases, 2 deaths
  • Chatham: 1,321 cases, 37 deaths
  • Effingham: 141 cases, 1 death
  • Glynn: 788 cases, 6 deaths
  • Liberty: 121 cases, 1 death
  • Long: 43 cases, 1 death
