Last week two no-knock search warrants were served at a unit at the Ravenwood Apartment complex according to, Capt. Sasha Krumnow with the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office Narcotic’s Unit.
Krumnow said one warrant was for the LCSO and the other was for Hinesville Police Department’s Narcotic’s Unit. He said the warrants were the result of an investigation into the possible sales of illegal drugs. The investigation started around a month ago, he said.
“We developed enough information to obtain a search warrant,” Krumnow said. He said it just so happened that Hinesville Police were about to serve a similar warrant, so they mobilized together. Krumnow said they recovered narcotics and money.
Krumnow said they are doing their best to get the drugs off the streets. He said arrests were made and that the investigation was ongoing.
