Three area teachers recently participated in the 2012 Education for Sustainability summer teaching institute, presented by the College of Coastal Georgia.

The week-long professional learning initiative — which started June 11 in Brunswick, according to the Brunswick News — provided teachers with content and experiences in the fields of coastal ecology, sustainable development and environmental education.
