Mrs. Connie Klein’s fourth-grade gifted resource class at Joseph Martin Elementary studied ancient Egypt before the holiday break. The students learned about mummification, including how the ancient Egyptians prepared bodies for mummification, embalming procedures, wrapping the bodies and arrangements for the afterlife.

Everyone in class took turns dressing up as mummies and wrapping each other in toilet paper.
