Amanda Kathleen Herring of Savannah, formerly of Hinesville, graduated cum laude with honors on Dec. 11 from Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah. She earned a bachelor’s of science degree in psychology.
Herring, a 2007 Liberty County High School honor graduate and HOPE scholar, is the daughter of Mary Herring of Hinesville and Ernest P. Herring Jr. of Hinesville. She is the granddaughter of the late Flossie Mae Johnson of Hinesville.
Herring is a member of the Armstrong Atlantic State Honor Society, the National Honor Society and the PSI CHI Psychology Honor Society. She plans to attend graduate school in the fall.
