On Jan. 21, Midway Middle School recognized students who excelled academically for the second nine-week grading period. There were 17 students on the “A” honor roll and 160 students on the “A/B” honor roll. The Rev. Doug Walker, pastor of Midway United Methodist Church, talked to students during the ceremony about being grateful for the educators who assist them with their scholastic achievements.
Many students received gifts during the ceremony. The grand prize was a DS Lite game console.
