Smiley Elementary School will host a Parent Teacher Organization meeting and Parent University session starting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 26, in the school’s cafeteria.  
PTO business will include the presentation of a donation to the school to be used for playground renovations. The Parent University session will be for grades kindergarten-third and will include activities for students and parents to practice together for upcoming state-mandated assessments, including the Georgia Milestone End-of-Grade (EOG) Test.  
Teachers and counselors will provide information to educate parents how to help students prepare for the tests at home. Snacks will be served.
All parents, guardians, and students are encouraged to attend.
