Terrence Smith, 13, won this year’s Wal-mart Vision Center’s annual Back-to-School SpongeBob Coloring Contest.

On Aug. 15, manager Karen Kittle presented a bookbag, a basket full of school supplies and SpongeBob balloons to the Snelson-Golden Middle School seventh-grader.

More than 80 children entered. Kittle said some children colored their pictures at home and brought them back while others stretched out and worked on the vision center floor.

“It was too cute,” she said.

All participants will receive gifts.
