UGA graduation: An estimated 2,400 University of Georgia students completed requirements for their degrees at the end of the 2006 fall semester. Each student participated in the university’s commencement exercise that was on Dec. 15.
The following students are from Hinesville.
Jessica Leigh Foster, who earned a bachelor’s of science in family and consumer sciences, and Charles Grayson Godley, bachelor’s of science in agriculture.

ATHENS — The university of Georgia has announced the names of undergraduate students who achieved the dean’s list for fall semester.
Students named to the list have earned a 3.5 grade point average or higher out of a possible 4.0. The designations require that students take at least 14 credit hours and receive no unsatisfactory or incomplete grades.
The honored students from Hinesville were Charles Godley, Robert Carter, Alonta Hall, Taeree Lee, Adam Nalisnick, Brian Smith, Yvonne Tomlinson, Leslie Wells and Sandricker Chandler.

TIFTON—Registrar Beth Saxon recently announced that 180 students completed the requirements for graduation from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College at the end of the fall semester.
These students were eligible to receive their associate degree diplomas at graduation exercises on Dec. 14.
Cedric Orange, a business information technology major from Hinesville, was among students who received degrees.
