According to a press release issued by the Atlantic Judicial Circuit District Attorney's office prosecutors from the Atlantic Judicial Circuit brought an indictment before the Long County Grand Jury, on Monday, charging Paul D. Robertson with one count of arson of lands, and two counts of making a false statement to investigators.

These charges resulted from a fire that began on June 15, 2011 on Holmes Theus Road in Long County, Georgia.  The Grand Jury true billed all three counts, and a copy of the indictment has been formally presented to the clerk of Superior Court in Long County.  Robertson was a Ranger I with the Georgia Forestry Commission, and his employment was terminated on July 11. An arraignment date will be scheduled in the near future along with other cases true billed and returned by the Grand Jury.
