Charles Morris

Morris Multimedia, Inc. president and CEO Charles Morris was honored Nov. 13 at the Junior Achievement of Georgia-Coastal Region’s annual Savannah Business Hall of Fame banquet.

Morris, along with Annette Brock and Dale C. Critz, Jr., were honored as the 2018 Hall of Fame Inductees. Morris spearheads Morris Multimedia, Inc., which owns over 65 daily and non-daily newspapers, magazines and specialty publications. Morris Network, Inc., which falls under Morris Multimedia, Inc., operates 12 network affiliate TV stations.

According to JA of Georgia, the annual black-tie event is held to highlight the careers and community service of Savannah’s most outstanding citizens. The honorees are selected based not only on their business accomplishments, but also because of their extensive support of the community.

All proceeds raised from the event funds local JA programs, which targets personal financial literacy, promotes workforce development and ethics and 21st century skills, according to the website.
