UPDATE: The Hinesville Fire Department, as well as Incident Command, Hinesville Police Department, Georgia Power and Liberty County EMS responded to a house fire off of W. Memorial Ave at 306 Morris Lane at 12:50 p.m. Friday afternoon. Five people were displaced, according to HFD Captain Andy Fowler. No injuries were reported. The fire was 75 percent involved when units arrived on scene and got it under control. Fire investigators are currently on scene gathering more information. The cause is unknown at this time.
