A two-vehicle accident on Elim Church Road in Long County has claimed the life of a woman, leading to charges of vehicular homicide.

According Georgia State Patrol Trooper Vieux Ndoye, a Chevy Silverado driven by a male driver was traveling northbound when it collided head on with a Ford Fusion driven by Suzanne LoGuidice, 52, of Hinesville who was traveling southbound.

LoGuidice was transported to Liberty Regional Medical Center in Hinesville, where she later passed away from her injuries.

Ndoye said the driver of the Silverado is facing a charge of vehicular homicide. Additional charges are pending.
