In July of this year, the Joseph Grant Statefarm in Hinesville joined the Kindness Revolution founded by Author Ed Horrell.

“We are the Kindness Central Headquarters in Hinesville,” Joseph Grant said.

The Kindness Revolution is a non-profit business membership organization with the mission of raising awareness of values, such as kindness, in leadership, customer service, schools and communities, according to their website.

The Kindness Revolution was looking for community focused businesses which was one of the core values for Joseph Grant Statefarm. They tasked Grant with taking bracelets and passing them out when acts of kindness were shown.

On Facebook Grant did his initial boost looking for kindness brand ambassadors and asked for people to comment on the post if they wanted to participate.

Grant says he reached over 3,500 people with the post and given away at least 500 bracelets in the community and has partnered with some schools in the community to promote kindness.

“I am hoping to work with other community leaders to affect positive change,” Grant said. “Being kind doesn’t cost anyone anything and something we need more of.”
