The Liberty County Development Authority (LCDA) announces that Chief Executive Officer Brynn Grant has been named to Georgia Trend magazine's 2026 Georgia 500, marking her third consecutive year among the state's most influential leaders.
Published annually by Georgia Trend, the Georgia 500 recognizes individuals whose leadership, vision and contributions are shaping Georgia's economy and future. The publication highlights influential leaders across a broad range of industries and sectors, including economic development.
A Liberty County native, Grant brings decades of experience in economic development, organizational leadership and community engagement to her role as CEO of LCDA. Since joining the Authority in 2024, she has championed a collaborative, forward-looking approach to economic development.
"Brynn's recognition for the third consecutive year is a testament to her leadership, dedication and ability to bring people together around a shared vision for Liberty County's future," said state Representative Al Williams, chairman of the LCDA Board of Directors. "She understands that economic development is about creating opportunities for our people, strengthening our communities and making thoughtful investments that will benefit generations to come. We are fortunate to have her leading these efforts."
Under Grant's leadership, LCDA has made significant strides in strengthening the organization and advancing Liberty County's economic competitiveness. Key accomplishments include the development of LINK Liberty, the Authority's community-driven strategic plan; advancing industrial site development and infrastructure investments; supporting new business investment and expansion; and strengthening industry engagement and workforce development partnerships.
Grant has established a renewed commitment to transparency through proactive communications, fiscal responsibility and organizational accountability, implementing improved financial processes and bringing the Authority's financial reporting up to date.
