Liberty County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Kenny Smiley said there were 90 entries in Friday night’s year’s Christmas parade, including 37 lighted floats — the largest number ever.

Before parade ...
Smiley said, “We’re very excited about this year’s parade. With all the entries and floats, it’s obvious the entire community came together to help celebrate the season.

After the parade ...
Smiley was ecstatic about attendance.
He said,
“We’ve never had this many people out before. We’re estimating over 15,000 people. The people in the parade said that once you turned out of the school (Bradwell parking lot onto Gen. Screven) the crowd was 50 deep, all the way down Screven. It’s never been that far before.
