ATLANTA — A Tattnall County tree surgeon recently won $1 million from the Georgia Lottery. Jonathan Hilliard of Collins won his prize playing the instant game Georgia Lottery Black.
The 27-year-old hasn’t made any plans yet.
“I’m going to have a lot to think about,” he said.
Flash Foods at 1 E. Cypress St. in Ludowici, sold the winning ticket.
“It tickled me,” Hilliard described after discovering his prize. “I was jumping for joy on the inside.”
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $12.5 billion to the state of Georgia for education.
