A mix-up by a fuel transport company temporarily disabled 13 Hinesville vehicles Wednesday.According to Bobby Ryon with the city’s public works contractor CH2MHILL, the transport trucks pumped diesel fuel into an 8,000-gallon gas tank at the maintenance yard. Conversely, another truck pumped gas in the 8,000-gallon diesel fuel tank.“We had to take the tanks off-line and drain them,” Ryon said. “None of the vehicles were damaged because right after it happened, a truck turned around and came back as soon as the driver saw he was having problems.
