Mayor to give state of city address

The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce will host Hinesville Mayor James Thomas at a Progress Through the People luncheon at noon Thursday at the Liberty College and Career Academy on Airport Road.  
In recognition of Georgia Cities Week, Thomas will give his state of Hinesville address.
Thomas has asked leaders in education, health care, industry/work force, business/tourism and housing/relocation to join him in speaking on their fields and their plans for immediate and long-term growth in Hinesville. Thomas also will offer insight on these topics.
“The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce is excited to hear from Mayor Thomas and his guest speakers on the growth  and progress of Hinesville during Georgia Cities Week,” chamber CEO Leah Poole said.
The cost to attend is $15 for chamber members and $20 for non-members. To RSVP, call 368-4445.
