Early voting in municipal elections ended Friday. Election Day is Tuesday and is the last chance for registered voters to decide on mayoral and city-council candidates.
According to data provided by the Liberty County Board of Elections, 1,433 votes were cast in Hinesville during the advance-voting period, 42 in Riceboro and 87 in Walthourville.

The following is a list of contested races in Liberty and Long counties:
Hinesville
• Mayor: Tyrone Adams, Allen Brown, Danny Eason, Charles Frasier and Liston Singletary III.
• City Council District 1: Diana Reid and Cathey Winn.
• City Council District 2: Jason Floyd (incumbent) and Andrew Williams.
• City Council District 3: Vicky Nelson, Arthur Nixon and Joseph B. Stuart.
• City Council District 5: Kenneth Shaw (incumbent) and Angela Wilson.
Riceboro
• Mayor: Bill Austin (incumbent), Joe Harris and Gregory Richardson.
• City Council (top four vote-getters are elected): Louise Brown, Vanessa Collins-Roberts, Charles Jones, David Miller (incumbent), Chris Stacy (incumbent), Tommy Williams (incumbent) and John Young (incumbent).
Walthourville
• Mayor: Carrie Anderson and Daisy Pray (incumbent).
Ludowici
• Mayor: James Fuller (incumbent) and Robert Parker.

• On Tuesday, the polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for municipal elections.
• Hinesville: Shuman Recreation Center, 800 Tupelo Trail
• Riceboro: Riceboro Youth Center, 5649 Highway 17
• Walthourville: Walthourville Police Department, 52 Talmadge Road
• Ludowici: City Hall, 469 N. Main St.
