VH1 reality series films in Liberty

The Liberty County Convention and Visitors Bureau has announced that a new VH1 reality TV series, Scared Famous, filmed on Hampton Island in Liberty County this past summer.
Scared Famous is about ten reality stars who move into a haunted house for eight weeks to face each other, and their worst fears, to be the last one standing. Rapper Redman, leads the cast through frightening themed challenges as they plot to win $100,000 for a charity of their choice. The cast includes Alaska (Rupaul’s Drag Race), Don Benjamin (America’s Next Top Model), Drita D’Avanzo, (Mob Wives), Erica Mena (Love & Hip Hop: New York), Eva Marcille (America’s Next Top Model), Miss Nikki Baby (Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood), Safaree (Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood), Sky (Black Ink Crew: New York), Tiffany “New York” Pollard (I Love NY), and Yung Joc (Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta).
“We were happy to be able to facilitate this process for VH1 and to benefit the Liberty County community in both hotel/motel tax revenue and sales tax revenue generated from the cast and crew who spent an estimated $2.1 million by their own accounting,” LCCVB CEO Leah Poole said.
Liberty County is a Camera Ready community and the LCCVB is the official Camera Ready liaison for the program.
