Liberty Regional Medical Center (LRMC) will partner with the American Red Cross to host another community blood drive on Friday, October 9, giving local residents an opportunity to help those in need through blood donation.

Blood donations play a critical role in supporting patients facing surgeries, traumatic injuries, cancer treatments, chronic illnesses, and other medical emergencies. By giving blood, donors can play a direct role in supporting patients and helping maintain a steady supply for those who depend on it.

“Blood donations are essential to ensuring patients have access to the care they need when they need it most,” said Derek Rozier, chief executive officer of LRMC. “We’re grateful to partner with the American Red Cross to host this blood drive and provide an opportunity for our community to make a meaningful difference.”

The blood drive will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Liberty Regional Medical Center Classroom, located at 462 E.G. Miles Parkway in Hinesville. Community members are encouraged to schedule an appointment in advance, although walk-ins may be accepted as availability allows.
