Six Fort Stewart soldiers from the Association of the United States Army’s Marne Chapter, based on Fort Stewart, ran in the Army Ten-Miler in Washington, D.C., on Oct. 11. The Fort Stewart Ten-Miler Team also included three civilians. The team received donations from several businesses, including Clyde’s Market, Coca-Cola, Wal-Mart, Kroger, Food Lion, The Heritage Bank and the Fort Stewart Commissary, Pooler locations of The Home Depot and Lowe’s,  GeoVista Credit Union, Ameris Bank of Pooler and Imprint Warehouse in Hinesville.
