Nearly 700 runners participated in the second annual Pooler 5K on Saturday, including 100 soldiers from the Fort Stewart Warriors in Transition Battalion.
Following the run, event organizers presented a check for $16,000 to the WTB.
Last year, the WTB received $10,000 and the money was used to fund support programs for family members that otherwise would not have been possible.
