Three U.S. Air Force airmen recently graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

• Airmen 1st Class Emmanuel T. Myrick a 2010 graduate of Bradwell Institute and earned an associate degree in 2015 from Savannah Technical College.

• Airman 1st Class Porsche A. Clanton is the daughter of Velma A. Clanton of Hinesville and Roderick D. Clanton of Ludowici. She is also the mother of Ava R. Polo. Clanton is a 2011 graduate of Long County High School.

• Airman Nicholas W. Sorrow is the son of Spence G. Sorrow of Midway and Jennifer Sands of Aurora, Colo., and step-son of Cora C. Sorrow of Midway. He is also the brother of Zachary J. Sorrow. The airman is a 2017 graduate of Liberty County High School.

The airmen completed an eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
