Bad weather no longer anobstacle

Hello folks, Tight Line Jr. here. Well, if you were fishing for rain, it looks like your wish came true. But it looks like we have some good fishing weather for the weekend. Here are a few reports from around the coastal area.

My fishing buddy "Rod-n-Reel Robbins" was fishing off the hill south of here and landed six gator trout using live shrimp.

John Rogers and "Team McFleming" netted 14 spot tail bass and three nice trout. "Natty Branson" was fishing with Capt. Jake Horton and pulled in 30 whiting, six trout and five sheepshead.

Bill Wentz, a transplant from New York, was out with his fishing party and caught 30 black sea bass and four trout deck side.

On the dock tour, we landed three trout and two spot tail bass last weekend.

Yellow Bluff reports having live shrimp, minnows and fiddlers. Barney at Sunbury Crab Company and Marina reports having live shrimp and minnows.

Halfmoon Marina and Benny at Fisherman’s Lodge have live shrimp as well.

There was one fellow out there who said he was upset because he said his fishing report was not in the paper. Well, it could be I made a mistake. All I can say is what Ol’ Tight Line taught me. Get out there and get fishing, and if you do, always remember to keep a tight line.

I always say hit the docks, keep a sharp eye and watch that cork go down.

Your friend,

Tightline Jr.
