Hello, everyone. Tight Line Jr. here. Ol’ Tight line says hello to everyone and hopes you are out there catching some fish.

A few folks told us they’ve been catching a few. Rayburn at Yellow Bluff said he had several boats with trout and bass. My man Big Jimmy is still catching sheepshead. Paul Rose, John Rogers and party landed 40 trout right after Thanksgiving.

Let’s get to the dock tour. Boo Hall and I had a good two weeks. All in all, we docked 15 black drum, seven spottail bass and four big sheepshead — all on dead bait.

Before I go, I would like to take this time to say goodbye to the best friend I’ve ever had, my mother, Miss Kitty. I’ll miss her for the rest of my days. I watched her catch many a trout and I want to extend all my love to her.

Also, I would like to extend some prayers for Tina Rogers and hope she’ll have a coming home party soon. God bless her family.

Yellow Bluff has live shrimp and minnows. Halfmoon Marina has live shrimp and Big Rudy at the Sunbury Country Store has fresh, frozen shrimp and squid.

So remember what Ol’ Tight Line says and get out there and go fishing. And if you do, always remember to keep a tight line.

I always say hit the dock, keep a sharp eye and watch that cork go down. Ask Santa to get you some hooks for the holidays because it’s always a good time to wet one.

Your friend,

Tight Line Jr.
