Liberty Bass Club honors top anglers

The Liberty County Bass Club honored its top anglers for 2011 at a Dec. 17 awards dinner at the home of P.J. Snider. The clubs best will compete again March. 6.

The Liberty County Bass Club met for its annual awards dinner at P. J. Snider’s residence on Dec. 17 and honored their winning anglers of the year.
The top angler of the year onor went to Richard Hughes while second place went to John Main, third to Dan Whaley, fourth to Schneider, fifth to Phil Robertson and sixth place to Cedric Golson.
The top anglers from each club in Georgia, including the ones listed here from the Liberty Club, will compete at the Georgia Bass Federation Top 6 event scheduled to be in March in Clarksville.
Liberty Bass Club member Walter Woodall was awarded the club’s Largest Creel award for his 15.2 pound catch.
The club is comprised of members from around the county.
