Local waters teem with trout

Hello friends, Tight Line Jr. here. There are not many, but I do have a few reports from the coast.

William Haymens and Don Watson caught a black drum and 30 sheepshead. Haymens later went out solo and landed 15 sheepshead and a spottail bass.

One fisherman, whose name was unavailable, caught the limit on trout two days running.

Buddy Lanie landed four nice trout, and I mean nice ones!

Albert Lodge was out fishing with Robbie Hendley and netted 15 trout. Also, the dock tour pulled in three nice trout and a spottail this week.

Yellow Bluff reports having live shrimp and minnows, with fiddlers on the way. Halfmoon has live shrimp. Joe and Clay at Sunbury Crab Company and Marina reported having live shrimp and minnows.

The Branch family would like to say farewell to a good friend, Mr. Johnny Henderson. I’ve caught many fish off his dock, and I am proud I knew him. He will be missed.

Ol’ Tight Line says get out there and go fishing. And if you do, always remember to keep a tight line.

I always say hit the docks, keep a sharp eye, and watch that cork go down.

As my old friend J.P. says, take it to the next level.

Your buddy,

Tight Line Jr.
