Tybee Island to host fourth annual Labor Day Beach Bash

Enjoy ocean breezes, live music and fireworks from the majestic Tybee Pier and Pavilion on Sept. 4 at the fourth annual Tybee Island Labor Day Beach Bash.
Free live entertainment starts at 7 p.m. featuring The Swingin’ Medallions. The high-energy band has performed live with Bruce Springsteen and has been featured in the Georgia Music Hall of Fame.
The fireworks display can be enjoyed from the pier, the beach or anywhere on Tybee Island after dark — around 9:15 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public. The Tybee Island Pier and Pavilion is at Tybrisa Street and Strand Avenue.

Upcoming events at Tybee Island

Pirate Festival on Oct. 6-9:
Swashbucklers of all ages will converge on Tybee Island to participate in the seventh annual Tybee Island Pirate Fest. The festival  will feature pirate victory parade, live entertainment, costume contests, children’s activities and the thieves market filled with treasures, grog and grub!
All events will be held in the South Beach parking lot located at Tybrisa Street. Pirate Festival weekend passes are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Tickets can be purchased in advance at www.tybeepiratefest.com or at the door.

Festival of the Arts on Oct. 15-16:
