Parker's names new CFO

Parker’s, one of the nation’s leading foodservice and convenience store companies, recently hired Brian J. Prevatt, CPA as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer. In his new position, Prevatt is responsible for managing financial and tax strategy, asset utilization, value creation and return on capital.

 

An accomplished CPA, Prevatt excels at developing long-term strategic and financial plans and helping companies meet fiscal goals. Before joining Parker’s, he served as a Senior Tax Manager with Hancock Askew & Co., LLP for nearly 10 years. During his tenure at Hancock Askew, he earned the J. Patterson Little Team Player Award as well as awards for profitability and most billable hours for several consecutive years.

 

“Brian is an exceptional financial strategist who will help Parker’s reach new levels of success,” said Parker’s CEO Greg Parker. “We’re thrilled to have his guidance and expertise as we expand our corporate footprint, open new retail stores and continue our charitable giving programs in 2019.”

 

An active community volunteer, Prevatt currently serves as a member of the United Way of the Coastal Empire’s Community Investments Committee and Stewardship Review Committee. He is the former treasurer of the Live Oak Public Library Foundation, Telfair Museums' William Jay Society and a former member of the Savannah Communication Foundations Emerging Leaders Committee.

 

Prevatt earned a B.B.A. in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy from Georgia Southern University and currently resides in Savannah.
