A 59-year-old man died after he was stabbed multiple times Tuesday after-
noon at Treetop Apartments in Hinesville, according to Hinesville Police Department Chief of Detectives Maj. Thomas Cribbs. The victim’s name will not be released until police can notify the next of kin.

When police and first responders arrived at the complex in the 600 block of Taylor Road shortly after 2:30 p.m., they found the bleeding victim lying on the pavement. He was transported to Liberty Regional Medical Center and later was taken by helicopter to Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, where he was pronounced
dead.

No motive for the stabbing was provided, but police are seeking Christian Thomas of Hinesville in connection with the incident, said Cribbs, who considers Thomas dangerous and is urging anyone who sees him to call 911 or call the Hinesville police department.
