There may be delays at the gates at Fort Stewart and increased public safety and emergency presence through Thursday as part of an exercise.

Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield are conducting exercises to test the installations’ responses to threats and emergencies, and traffic in and around both bases could be impacted. On Fort Stewart, the Smith Education Center is the location for one of the exercises, and traffic around that building and around the Wooldridge Gate (Gate 1) could be affected.
