Three five-ton air conditioning units apparently were stolen recently from a store in Long County and one of the building owners is willing to pay for information about the heist.
Long County Sheriff’s Office Investigator Tom Sollosi said Joe Raymer is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person or people who broke into a walled outdoor service area behind One Stop Express on Highway 57 and took the units.
The convenience store is not currently operational and Sollosi said because the store was closed when the units were stolen, little information is available. Anyone with information should call the LCSD at 545-2118.
