Military authorities are investigating the death of a 22-year-old soldier at Holbrook Pond on Fort Stewart. The man’s body was found Saturday night at the campsite, which is used by military personnel and retirees. The site is roughly
5 miles from the main post area and sits off Highway 144 East, about
10 miles from Richmond Hill.
Fort Stewart public-affairs officer Kevin Larson said he could not provide any additional details.
