 Earlier story

A man identified as a Fort Stewart soldier was arrested early Monday morning after being found in a Hinesville business.

Luis Antonio Ramirez was arrested in strip mall on the 700 block of Weeping Willow Drive after allegedly breaking a glass door of the Nu Image barber and beauty shop to gain entry into the row of stores, which is home to a church and a dry cleaners.

Ramirez was arrested in the dry cleaners wearing clothing that had the dry cleaners' identification labels.

Ramirez did not offer resistance during his apprehension. According to Hinesville Police Detective Melvin Kesner, Ramirez is suspected of tampering with a Navy Federal Credit Union ATM that was heavily damaged earlier Sunday evening.

At first it was believed a second suspect was in the heavily surrounded building, but a thorough search of the inside and the roof of the building did not yield a suspect.

Ramirez is facing burglary charges as well as other charges
