A man wanted for burglary on the east end of Liberty County is under arrest, according to Liberty County Sheriff’s Office Detective Capt. Tracy Jennings.

The burglary on Cattle Hammock in Midway was reported June 19 to the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office.

The LCSO had released a sketch of a possible suspect who was seen by witnesses to be in the area at the time.

Jennings said the investigation and with the assistance of other jurisdictions an arrest warrant was obtained for Gregory Baker, 28, of Bloomingdale.

Jennings said Baker is incarcerated for unrelated charges in Effingham County Jail.
